Unless ACi Irrigation has changed their service model for new clients, my experience was and continues to be different. I began using their service 2 years ago and still do. The initial inspection and setup visit is $89 plus cost of parts and additional labor. Continuing thereafter with their quarterly service program, I pay $50 per quarterly visit that includes re-inspection, adjustments, cleaning of filters, and grass/weed removal around heads, plus cost of parts and additional labor. They call to set appointments, and service so far has been reliable and at reasonable cost.

I talked with them last year. The woman I spoke with did not mention a $50 charge for anything. Their minimum charge to just show up at your house was $89. The initial visit did not include any work at all. It was a fee to look at the system and provide an estimate for future work. That was a non-starter for me.
