I understand the desire to have driveways, garages, and other surfaces coated, but I hear too many horror stories about how it goes bad, needs to be cleaned off, etc.

In spirit with the OP post title, I think I will just keep mine bare.

Default new seal on driveway

You typically don't remove old sealer (It has decomposed over time). You simply add a new coat of sealer... once3 every two years or so. Remaldo did both of my houses; paint, epoxy, and sealed. He does a very professional job; fair price. His info:
