Default Village Realtor

I am interested in viewing homes in the "Historic" section when I visit soon. Does anyone know if there is a particular realtor who specializes, or is more familiar, with these homes.

Just like any other part of the villages, you will need an agent both from the villages office, and an independent, outside MLS agent to see all that is available.

Don't know if he specializes in historic side, but Tony Trussler was the agent assigned to us on our LSP and we liked him a lot. Lyle Gant would be the choice for an MLS realtor, and you can find a lot of historic side homes for sale on his website. www.lylesellsfla.com Good luck!

I search internet sites, where I can see all the homes listed, then call a Realtor to show me four or five places. Internet listings are so good these days, with so many pictures, that you have a good idea of what the place is like before you go. The home we have now is the only home I asked to see. The pictures, description and location sounded right, and they were.

Searching the internet lets you see all the homes for sale, not just one a salesperson wants you to see. Also, you can go to the county tax sites, look at the satellite pictures, and see the area, ie busy streets, sewer plants, power lines and location in TV.

When you get to TV, drive around the area you have chosen, and maybe find a FSBO.

Good luck with your search. It can be very time consuming, but well worth the time.

For a TV agent, I'd go with Donna Fenster. She has a lot of listings on that side.

i agree with redwitch re donna fenster - have met her at several open houses and she was very professional in those showings - and she does have a lot of sales and listings in the historic neighborhoods - she'll be able to give you a history of the sales activity there.

and i agree with the others re lyle gant - his website provides soooo much info that you could probably buy sight unseen!

We use Donna Fenster, and were happy with the service.
