Default Villages Furniture Store

How are the prices for living room furniture at the Villages Furniture Store in Sumter Landing?

Thank you.

I'm not a great judge of furniture quality, but some items seem expensive.

All I know is that our sales rep told us that the incentives for buying new homes were higher if you took it in furniture credit because the furniture would be coming from their store.

We thought they were quite expensive. There are lots of furniture stores in Ocala where you can bargain and get good deals. That said, Southern Lifestyles has a pretty good selection, although when we were looking, we wanted a sectional and they didn't have any on display at that time. You have to order their furniture and wait for delivery, not much in stock.

I like to get my furniture right away and they do not do that at TV stores. Residents do get 5% discount (at least they did so check) also they said find the item for a better price somewhere else and they will match the price. You need to double check this because it is 5 yrs since I bought anything there.

we recently bought a number of pieces there after shopping elsewhere, including the stores in Ocala. We were pleased with the selection, pricing and service. The only item that they were way off base on was mattresses and box springs. There prices were not even close to being competitive. Overall, we were pleased.

After looking at various furniture stores and consignment shops for a desk that would fit in with victorian and some antiques, we found the perfect desk at TV furniture store. It really was beautiful and cost much less then even the consignment shops. Definitely worth a look.

Yeah, same here. We shopped new and used furniture shops for a bedroom set and ended up buying at Southern Lifestyles here in TV. They have a VERY wide selection of style and PRICE. You can probably find something in your budget and make sure to ask for the 'resident discount'.

You get what you pay for. Southern Lifestyles has inexpensive lines all the way up to very expensive. They will match any price from other furniture stores. As a Village resident, you get 5% discount. We worked with a salesperson named Dave, and he was very helpful in getting the best furniture we could for our money. He works between the Spanish Springs store and the Sumter Landing store, so call before you go to see which store he is in that day. You will be pleased if you work with him.

Have had good experiences with them, especially in having to coordinate with "Empty Nest" for delivery and set-up.

One good thing is they have all the floor plans for all the home models there, so it's quick to size up whether something fits or not.

We spent a fair amount of time furniture shopping this year and thought Souther Living in The Villages had as good or better prices them most with the exception of mattresses.
We actually found the exact same dinning room set in another store for hundreds more. We did notice that the two Southern Living location had different furniture and the one in Spanish Springs seemed to have more reasonable furniture. Prices in mattress stores seemed better than SL and the little things will kill you if your not careful.

Quite honestly we spent allot of time shopping around to other stores. Waste of time and energy. We seemed to always end up back at Southern lifestyles. They always matched the price and we found their quality and service to be very good. We dealt with Hanna.
Their cookies were good to.

I liked shopping at Babbette's in Leesburg. We found a bedroom furniture that we used for the two bedrooms and the den. That way when I downsize, I can mix and match what I want to take along then. We also bought some lamps and tables there and a wall sculpture. They have the dimensions of the house styles too.

We bought at Southern lifestyles and Chris Mcall was our guy. He spent so much time with us and his patience showed as me and my wife could not make up our mind!!!! I would recommend him to any person who is interested in furniture. As far as others in Ocala. There is Kanes, Badcock, Bolckers(if you go ask for Chris Haddix) he was extremely helpful as well!!
