Same. We also added a softener (because we like soft water) and the one Nova installed for us is topnotch.

We have Pelican and love it. Just an additional step in filtration.

But.............A lot of people have purchased Nova and like them.

Both filter but we have hard water in The Villages and the Pelican also softens the water.

It is a Personel choice on whether you want softening, I do so feel it is worth the added cost.

I have had a Nuvo water treatment system for 10 years. And always install it in our homes. Works great, takes out all the heavy metals, calcium, chlorines but leaves the fluoride. Cost is 695.00 and the filter is 58.00. I use to have those large salt systems. What a waist of money. Bought a Rain Soft System 10 years ago. They are nothing but a scam.

What do the softness or filter systems cost? What maintenance is required? Can you add salt or whatever chemicals you need or does someone have to do it? I think the water is OK but the smell of it smells very much like chlorine. To me that can’t be healthy!

Can you tell me what model Nova you purchased and from who? Did they install it or did you? Thanks
