Default where are appliance dealers in the area?

New to the area, moving to the Villages soon. We will be needing to buy a washer and dryer. We are used to our local appliance dealer for sales/service. Who has experience with a reputable appliance dealer in the area - good prices, free delivery, installation and service. We have researched brands just need to know the local establishments. thanks in advance.

We just bought a GE washer and dryer from the new Lowes Store on 466A. With a full 3 year warranty, we paid about $1000.00. We are good for 3 years, anything after that is a bonus.

Lowes is good and if they don't have it Home Depot will. We purchased our LG washer and dryer set from Sears via their website, they delivered and installed them price was lower than anyone else.

We recently bought six appliances at Best Buy. There are many options for purchasing appliances.
I suggest you use the search button (above) to search for previous threads. Here is one.

We bought at Best Buy. Opened a credit card and got an extra 10% off. Installation crew did a great job, too.

We dropped Sears from our list, not sure how long they will be around. There have been a few posted about problems with lowes and HD when it came to issues with warranty problems. Going to Best Buy this week to see. Our fridge up north is from Best Buy they stood behind any problems we had. Of course fridge is now over 20 years old

As you can see, there are no (or very, very, very few) appliance dealers that aren't big box stores. It was an adjustment for us also, as we were used to a small yet personal full service, family owned appliance store.

When did you purchase. There are yelp reviews that made me think not to buy there

I like to purchase from Lowes because they have their own trucks and installation people. Home Depot does not.

A year ago. They were great, no problems at all and we are very happy with it.
