The only thing I don't like about down here in Florida that I liked up north was the system I had up north you serviced the system yourself, but down here they want to do everything themselves or the systems warranty is no good. It just seems like everything down here means money for someone. Not saying that's bad but I want to spend my retirement myself, not spend my money supporting everyone else. If you want to have someone else do everything for you & you have the money to do so, that's great! But they're are people that don't or can't pay for everything that gets done. Sorry, but I worked 38 yrs. to earn my retirement for me & my family to enjoy.

I know someone that paid $4400
Is it ethical to charge people different prices?

After we purchased in 2016 we interviewed 4 companies. The best one without any hesitation was the GE water Filtration system. Priced nice and affordable. It also included a reverse osmosis system for drinking water. I also believe they are on the approved Village vendor list

We used Kiley & Sons off 441 just south of of the 466 intersection. Phone 352-753-7586. We got the smaller filtration system but I would recommend the large size filter system. But we are happy with it. Also consider installing an under the sink filter for kitchen as it adds a secondary filter.

No it isn’t, but people fall for high pressure sales all the time.
I am another satisfied Nova customer - they are the best

Novo!! This is our second home in the Villages and we've had it/have it in both. Very happy with the system. I no longer even purchase bottled water. (and I'm super picky about my drinking water)

Prices are ridiculous on water systems, really $5000 for a 8 or 9 hundred dollar system

Go with Pegasus in Wildwood, Fl. Pricey at 3K but the seven filters in the system filter out everything. Your tap water will taste better than bottled water, your fixtures will last longer and the Villages' water smell will be gone. The system backwashes through regular, inexpensive salt pellets.

If you have any kind of dry skin problems, go with the nova plus the water softener. I think the fact that they are now offering water softening along with water filtration (they used to claim the softener was not needed) is telling. I think they now have a good product with the filtration combined with the softener.
Can you send me a PM with approximate installation costs and cost of maintaining both systems?

Default Water Filtration

Nova is great. The smell and taste of water was pretty bad even coming from Fridge with a filter in - and hated carting heavy cases of bottled water home! Brad Novak and father are professional, courteous and fair price. Water tastes so good now.
