We broke a latch on one of our Lanai windows that latches the window to the frame; the home was preowned so no new home warranty; does anyone know where we can buy a replacement latch? Thanks in advance.

Look in the window frames for a manufacturer sticker, this will give you some contact information. If this sticker does not have a phone number, it should have some identifying numbers that you can type in to Google and get to a manufacturer, and then to a distributor.
If that does not work, I would try a Google MAPS search for replacement windows, and make some calls.

Call the warranty office. They can tell you the name of window manufacturer that was placed in your home and perhaps the original installer. They keep good records and are very helpful.
