Honestly, go to Lowe’s and get a light bulb that has a sensor in it to go on at dark. We did that on ours last year. A little cheaper than replacing the sensor in the pole or pole itself. I believe the bulbs are about $10

I agree, but they are way cheaper than $10 from Amazon. About $2.50 each in a 4-pack.

Before replacing anything, ensure that power is actually going to the fixture. My yard light is fed from the garage GFCI receptacle circuit. Check if the garage GFCI device is tripped. If so try resetting it. If not, it’s time for a licensed electrical contractor. Should be an easy troubleshooting service call. Sorry but I’ve retired out of the trade after 40+ years, not licensed in FL.

Maybe the GFI. Turns out my DRYER was somehow connected to a ground fault interrupter!

I really sincerely hope that you have this as it has obviously turned out to be a Complete Total Nightmare for you.

For me I found most of the responses " Amusing " & so Serious. I chuckled most of the time.

Anyhoo this is my very last post on this _____________post.
