He should be EXECUTED, not making license plates.

Fortunately, Sheriff Joe is alive and well and planning to run for Sheriff again in 2020.

Yes, and the judge who let him go should serve the same sentence as him since if he was still in jail this wouldn't have happened. If judges could be held responsible for the prisoners actions that they released there would be a lot less repeat offenders.

by any reasonable measure 230 complaints = a bad guy

sad that he was able to 'get a pass' for so long...now he's killed people

anyone that suggests that this bad actor may just be misunderstood or a victim of his environment needs to get their stuff together....this thug belonged behind bars a long time ago

I agree, if and when someone becomes a danger to society then it is time to humanly euthanize them.

230 charges, not 230 convictions. He's still a scumbag but being charged and being convicted are 2 different things.

Yeah, but close. You remember when every teacher told you that whatever you did your permanent record would follow you all of your life???

And that old saw "The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior"??

And your mom says when you are rummaging in the fridge, "If it smells bad, throw it out"?

I used to believe that we should give everyone a chance or two to do things right but now I am leaning toward the view that people are born with certain personalities that make them completely selfish and remorseless.

Although I have corrected some really bad habits and am still working on others. Sigh.

I can tell you this. No one reading this would have wanted him dating our daughter.

No, it was 230 felony CHARGES. He was CONVICTED 15 times. And I doubt the convictions for only one charge at a time, so who knows how many charges resulted in a conviction.

I hope so. I heard him speak at a small community outreach program in Phoenix. Sheriff Joe knows the law and he refuses to make prisons a comfortable place where law breakers want to come back. I really like his common sense approach to the treatment of criminals.

Really? 230 times? I don't know of a single person that has been innocently charged even twice.

They can certainly be held without bail until trial, based upon past history.
