Blacks have 6-8 times the violent crime and homicide rate and a high rate of drug abuse. That is why they have more encounters with the police. Instead of addressing the real problems it is blamed on racism. More whites than blacks are shot by police and more whites are shot in proportion to their crime rate. The difference is whites are never mentioned on national TV.
BLM could care less about black lives, they care about racism and hatred towards whites, anarchy, and a power grab. If they cared about black lives they would stop the violence and killing in cities, including children, and have protests equal to Floyd’s every time they shot a child or one of their own.

I have not walked in their shoes, but have tried to imagine what it is like. I do appreciate what they do for us for that reason, but I also see far too many bad apples. Much of it is due to poor training, and some if it is just people who should be in another job. I do think they are in the minority, but they still need to be weeded out. Police Unions seem to be part of the problem in that all too often they protect these bad apples. Corporate America doesn't run like that - bad performers gets fired.

My hope is training would say when someone is handcuffed and clearly not a threat, you don't lean on their neck for 8+ minutes redendering them unconscious. Or when an unarmed man is running away from you, shooting them in the back is not the way to take them down. I hope we can agree on that. This is how things escalate, and the police should be masters at DE-escalation especially when it's clear how to do that.

The original post seems to be looking for a reaction. There are murders every day, so why is this one singled out? Is it because of the word black?? Racism comes in many forms, and I'm pointing out what it looks like when it starts out - it didn't take long for this entire discussion to devolve into issues with BLM and killing them without a trial. Sounds like an era long ago which seems to have been given a new life.

Yes I agree, but if your on handcuffs you should NOT try and get away...
If your running away and turn sideways to shoot a stun-gun at an officer you have every right to be shot at...

Maybe your watching or reading the wrong news media but on FOX News they been showing at least 3 or 4 children under the age 12 that have been murdered within 1 month by blacks in Chicago alone.....
