It’s incredible to see what has taken place in the world of sports. As a young boy In the Hudson valley in NY, I had one desire and that was to play mlb. We slept and ate baseball! In those days the Major leaguers had winter jobs to make it through. Some picked up jobs in construction or worked gas stations ect. They simply loved the game, and we loved them and emulated them. Today it’s disgraceful to see some of the superstars use their platform to make fools of themselves. Basketball, football, and now the pastime of summer. Some of us served honorably in the military and gave our best to a great country! Many of the professional ball players left the game they loved to go to war n serve their country. No comparison to today. We have no desire to even watch a game as we see the foolishness on display

I'm personally over them too. I actually have lost respect for professional athletes in the past year. Overpaid whine babies doing nothing more than playing sports demonstrating total disrespect for the fans and country that gave them the opportunity to do in the first place.

Seeing all the games are virtual and no fans are inconvenienced (except for maybe having to pick up the remote to change the station), it will be interesting to see fan reaction.

Personally, I am so over professional sports.

Notice that the PGA Tour players studiously avoid political positions because as "independent contractors" it will affect their individual brand by alienating half of the public. Besides, professional athletes are "entertainers". I want their entertainment--not their opinion on any subject. Just do their jobs, shut up and take the money--or lose my viewership.

I think they should boycott one game for every lost Black Life that doesn’t Matter In the daily Chicago shootings. That way they may focus some attention on the real problem and spare us more of their BS.
Go watch Villager sports instead.

I so impressed that these young men in professional sports would potentially sacrifice millions of dollars for a cause to make America better. Look at what happened to Kapernick! How many on TOTV would sacrifice or speak against the atrocities?Would you put your head down and not see what continues to happen?

I could care less about the Milwaukee Bucks, but that said they should be protesting the stupidity of criminals that don’t know how to understand a simple order given to them by the police, rather than protesting alleged brutality by said police. If I’m told to stand down by the police and I resist arrest and go to bend over to get something out of my car, I expect to be tasered or even shot.
I’m totally tired of career criminals being turned into martyrs or heroes. They are not!

These athletes with exceptional skills unfortunately do not use their celebrity to go after their concerns in an intelligent manner. Their response has destroyed whatever credibility they had, and accomplishing nothing but negativity toward them, professional sports, and the real problems. Adios!

Are you impressed with what's happening in Chicago, Portland, and many other places?? Get Real !

We must stop shooting Black people
It’s not about sports
It’s about taking a stand against murdering people
