And why don’t they play the National Anthem for Professional golf tournaments!
No one is ever required to stand, it’s just what proud American’s do. Golf starts usually over a 4 hour time span and is spread out over acres. Possibly could do it with a shotgun start but the people on the far side of the course could not hear it. Not practical but if implemented I’d STAND.

I have no use for pampered fools who never served their country! Being tall and athletic is a gift from God! I don’t give one iota about their politics - I refuse to watch or support them especially considering the number of flag draped coffins I saw while serving at Arlington in “The Old Guard” in 1967 to 1969!

Really??? Absolutely not true. 'Every one of these police actions is on someone who has just committed a crime or threatened the officers in some way" is far from the truth. Breanna Taylor, Tony Timpa, Sterling Brown, etc, etc..........did they threaten a cop or just commit a crime? I think not.

So, are you tired of the activism in pro sports? Have you stopped watching?

You have to admit... golf continues to "fly underneath the radar." I haven't seen anyone on the pro circuit wear a "BLM" shirt. In fact, none of the pro golf players are jumping into this controversy.

I love this. They are just playing the sport they love and we just get to watch it. Sigh...
They the players have absolutely no idea that the " BLM " very well organized Marxist arm of the organization is taking advantage of the well intentioned aim of BLM group.

So be it ignorance is bliss as the saying goes.

gave up on most sports about 20 years ago when players started taking over the direction of sports. check sports pages daily only to see the outcome of some things still meaningful to me but usually just to see which quality sports hero has been arrested for doing something stupid,, illegal or both.

I stopped watching the NFL when Colin first kneeled and the NFL did nothing. That was enough dissrespect of our country for me. Many other said they did the same, but then went to super bowl parties??

The anger at Colin taking a knee , which caused all the village patriots to boycott Papa Johns and causing young kids to lose jobs , seemed to not bother the Armed forced who continued to advertise at games and soldiers attending in uniform were given free tickets as they are every year and many being honored on the field , because they know just like this combat vet paratrooper, that we are fighting for the rights of freedom of speech

I still find it disrespectful to our flag and those who fought under it including my dad and father in law who served in WWII.

Lots of ways to protest wish they would find another way to do it.

I agree getting paid millions to win a golf tournament is ridiculous.

Basketball in particular is on a decline simply because of the players themselves. Most are ignorant and are clueless on what they are complaining about.

As for football not that far behind, most followers are fed up with this kneeling business, and again ignorance.

They are being paid huge amounts of money and are clueless just following the pack.

The money comes from sponsors...based on the participation from fans. Without the latter bye bye players.

Kneel, Protest, Sit Out, go ahead ..... See how long it will be before you get your walking papers.

were there because people fought for the rights for free speech for Allen’s the right to peacefully protest , many people are tall and athletic just like many are born smart but it’s the ones who work hard to use those abilities to overachieve , it’s not a gift from God

J.J. Watt questions boos during Texans-Chiefs' show of unity: 'I don't fully understand that'

“The moment of unity I personally thought was good,” Watt told reporters. “The booing was unfortunate during that moment — I don’t fully understand that, there was no flag in that, there was nothing involved in that other than two teams coming together to show unity.”

The fact that everyone stood, but had their arms interlocked, perfectly demonstrates to me that the supposed outrage of kneeling during the anthem was never really the issue. It was just a bandwagon that white people who refuse to acknowledge white privilege, or don't want to give it up, used to pretend it was something else besides equal justice for blacks. And lots of comments, in many threads just here, hammers that truth home.

That is a VERY RACIST remark. You are stating a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. In your case you're saying that ALL white people have privilege. The most successful group in the US by race are Asians in almost every category from average household pretax income to Educational attainment. Would you dare to suggest Asian privilege?
