Why is the focus on blacks only. Are there not bias and prejudices in other groups....white....yellow....brown....et al For example, being poor and under privilege exists in other skin colors.... And why was there no such black disparity outcry when there was a black president? Ridiculous! |

But for JJ to talk to about young people today like they are growing up in a time of segregation, oppression and no opportunities is just not the reality now. But he either can't or won't see it. He's like a broken record. I don't know that he's changed his tune in 50 years. There is generational poverty in all racial groups. There is also generational wealth in all racial groups. What the Marxists want to do is redistribute everything so that everyone gets the same thing across the board - just one homogeneous group of meh. |

This will be an interesting test case to see how much self-abasement and self-hatred guilty white liberals will be willing to take. I doubt that many Villagers, even if wealthy white liberals, really want their white grandkids growing up hating themselves? Maybe I'm wrong. It's also humorous to watch some on this board quibble with the sourcing and try to imply it's a fringe story. I wish ...it's a preview of coming attractions as the Marxist revolution continues to gather steam. ...

What minorities want.... can not be given.....only earned. There is no equality..... only equal opportunity.

The post, in its entirety, belies the sincerity of this sentence. "There was a time when we did care, but you betrayed our good will and played us for fools." If that sentence were even close to being true, then we wouldn't be dealing with the same issues in 2020, that existed 50 years ago in 1970. It also perfectly exhibits the definition of "systemic" and "institutional." |

The reality is though...in spite of what Jesse Jackson and the individual quoted above might say, the tide has turned. This is not the 70's anymore. That is why the protesters out there are such a diverse group. That is why business owners, doctors, lawyers, CEOs, political representatives are such a diverse group. Activists seem to be going out of their way to create tensions among people. They are increasingly disdainful of law and order and get in the face of our sworn police officers while they are trying to keep our communities safe. This is not about making things better for people. It's about leveling people. Because that is what Marxism is all about - sameness. |
