Yes, it IS a personal choice. My body, my choice. That's what they say about abortion. Why doesn't that apply to the vaccine? I have no problem with your continued mask usage. Just don't try to impose your beliefs in that regard on me.

Aren't the variants originating in other countries? The Delta variant is more transmissible yet less deadly. That's typically how virus mutations work. Since I've been vaccinated and have some level of immunity, I'm not concerned about catching some future variation of this COVID. The risk is comparable to the risk I have catching the flu or the common cold.

Considering the # of citizens that have contracted the virus and have natural immunity plus the # that have been vaccinated; the US has to have the highest % of citizens that have some level of immunity. No data to back this up but I suspect the original flu was probably much more deadly that it is today. Eventually, populations developed immunities making the subsequent variations much less deadly. That's what is going to happen with COVID. I know this because I stayed in a Holiday Inn last week.......

When I was 17 and in boot camp for about 4 weeks someone in our barracks died from spinal meningitis. Over night we were isolated every time we left the barracks the camp looked like a ghost town. As dumb as I was then, that was a wakeup call. I'm fully vaccinated and if wearing a rag other my face gives me 1% more protection I will do so. Not to mention my 6 year old grandson is coming to visit in 2 weeks, there is no way I want to put him in danger of contracting this.

That "rag" on your face probably affords you zero additional protection since you were vaccinated, but it could save your unvaccinated grandson's life. I applaud your decision

We were going on a Celebrity cruise to Europe in September, and were just notified that we must wear masks on the ship except when eating, drinking or in our cabin. We must also wear masks when on tours. No thanks. Good bye cruise. We will wait. We both have had Covid-19 and since then have been vaccinated.

Some people portray Fauci as a hero and some as a villain, he just a man grabbing a straws trying to save lives. I believe if anyone of us were in his position we would be doing the same. My only question for him is at his age and I’m sure he has enough money, why is he putting up with this nonsense.
