Not true. My son never considered wearing a mask for allergies before CoVID. He only wears it mowing the lawn but it was certainly a nice discovery thanks to the ridiculous mask mandates.

It's just incredulous to me that some people willfully disregard the advice of infectious disease experts who work in this field daily. Defiance of the experts is not very smart!!

I truly believe the surge in cases and quickness of spread has taken the CDC by surprise. And not only are they back pedaling, they are very concerned it is getting out of control.
So, great for those who have vexed, not good for others and hopefully everyone will wear a mask, for that extra layer.

That's what makes them good at being experts. They know enough to accept and acknowledge that there is always more to learn. What they knew for sure today, could be proven wrong, or right but for different reasons, or expounded upon, or even proven to be MORE true than they realized, tomorrow.
