Gun controls are an infringement on the God given right enshrined in the constitution. Nothing you , nor anyone else can say, no matter how much you think you know, can change this.

I have spent enough time now on this thread. I will continue watching posted ignorant views for my continued entertainment.

BTW: The NRA has been clawing back infringements of freedom for many years now and they have done an excellent job.

Easy answer, but it won’t happen. Get rid of social media.

How many of the recent mass shooters spent a lot of time on social media? I doubt many did.

And there is this. Social Media Helps After Mass Shootings. It Also Fuels Them | Time

I apologize for allowing myself to be redirected in areas that your thread did not intend. I do apologize.

I posted once in response, and being steered away maybe cleared up for me some things.

It appears that some confuse gun laws to curtail massacres in shopping malls, etc., by guns that can kill many in seconds with P issues and demonstrations that go astray. I do not think that was your intent, but putting those aside, last week was pretty clear...

A Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday morning showed that about nine in 10 Americans (89%) support requiring background checks for all gun buyers, while 8% opposed that.

Researchers asked about several specific gun control measures.

74% support allowing the police or family member to petition a judge to take away guns from someone who may be at risk for violent behavior
52% support a nationwide ban on the sale of assault weapons
51% support nationwide ban on sale of high-capacity ammo magazines that hold more than 10 bullets
Just under half of Americans, 45%, feel that gun violence is a crisis in the United States. 41% think gun violence is a problem but not a crisis, while 12% think it's not a problem at all

Poll reveals Americans''' sentiment on several gun control measures, according to Quinnipiac University - ABC13 Houston

But propose any of these, you will be accused of any things......none of which apply.

And please for the love of whatever deity you choose to believe in, put your gun down. That's a pretty unhinged post of someone with profound anger issues. Your post sets a good example of the kind of mentality that should not be permitted to possess a firearm. Ever.
The only state that outright bans flame throwers is MD.

And one may own a machine gun if one possess a FFL.
