I’ve been on the road, I-75 North, but looked in, here and there, to see you yanking their chain. Way too easy for you. Have mercy, girl! Somebody, somewhere in one of these hideous threads, said moderates are only 20% of the country. That is some scary-azz statement……..

I think there are more moderates, like me, than just 20%, but I know that moderates don’t speak up very often. The extremes on both sides are destroying our country, as our enemies around the world just smile and wait…….

The susceptibility to the constant stoking by media is now on a level we have never faced before — and could not have imagined back when we were carrying around those floppy disks. But it’s here to stay and getting worse by the day, as screens rule us more and more. The methods used are simple ones — the same ones used by scammers who tap, tap, tap into the emotional part of the brain until it takes over.

(Personally, I wish corporations would not get involved in political hot buttons and just stick to what they know how to do. These recent messes are proof positive of that as far as I am concerned.)

Re. The basic subject at hand: Transgenders come in all kinds of personalities, just like everybody else. And I bet most transgenders do not want to be used as marketing pawns.

I know one transgender, not well, but was able to have a recent conversation when she told me that she has to plan her life around where she feels she will be safe from harassment — or worse. She made the decision to transition after she was well into adulthood and does not regret the decision. She just wants to live her life — and — not be dehumanized. (Many of these posts smack of dehumanization, as the posters pathetically tell themselves they are being noble.)

Target stores are getting bomb threats— proven hoaxes — for now. But bomb threats always require evacuations and scare people……

Those threats make me wonder how these posters among us — who cannot let this fevered pitch go — would feel if the all-too-usual, unspeakable happens and innocent people, including children, that these ranters and ravers claim to care so much about, die by the hand of someone who is susceptible and whose brain is “squirmin’ like a toad.”

Just curious, if your friend waited until she was an adult to transition, why is she still worried about what other folks thought of her/him/it? And what would be the purpose, if any of the transition if he/she/it decided to be a different gender? If it was a REAL transition, would there be any reason to think that anyone would know if he/she/it did not broadcast the change? If these transitions are not for attention, then why the need for special labeled clothing, and special treatment, etc.? Wouldn't most mature persons wish to be anonymous and keep their issue private? Just some thoughts.
I don't understand that about gays and lesbians either. Most of the ones I know, just want to be left alone and keep their intimate lives private. Why the Gay Pride parades and the gross and obscene prancing around dressed to create the shock effect? Most folks tolerate the whole deviant lifestyle, as long as it does not infringe on how they raise their children.
I guess none of this requires a response.
