. Georgia sheriff’s deputy Stacy Talbert tearfully recounted via Facebook Live the delays in her order at a McDonald’s drive-thru. McDonald’s said in a statement she was not denied service, and the delay in receiving her order was not intentional or due to her being a police officer. ‘I Don’t Know How Much More I Can Take’: GA Officer Tears Up At McDonald's Drive-Thru ------------------------- I ran into this short video and posted it on my Facebook page with my comments: OMG. Watch this whole video,it's not too long. It breaks your heart, truly. I can't imagine being a LEO these days. How can they possibly function with all that is going on? And they HAVE to bring it home too. I SO wanted to meet this Officer, give her a big hug and take her out to lunch or something. This makes me so MAD that some are doing this to the 99.5% GREAT and self-sacrificing Law Enforcement professionals serving us all. BTW I DO NOT believe McD's "statement". These things have happened many times. ----------------------- Info> Georgia sheriff’s deputy Stacy Talbert tearfully recounted via Facebook Live the delays in her order at a McDonald’s drive-thru. Too unhinged to be a police officer. Perhaps she could get a job at McD to improve on service.

I know everyone feels stressed with Covid and everything else that has been going on, but there is something else going on in her life or she's just not able to cope like most do. It has nothing to do with McDonalds. The fact that she made a video about it is a cry for help.
I hope her superiors see the video so they can do something about it before something bad happens. A desk job may be a better fit for her (after she gets some serious counseling). I do feel sorry or her. Last edited by skarra; 09-19-2020 at 07:55 AM. |

If I was a police officer in this time I would brown bag my meals and drinks. The police never know when they are under attach nowadays.

Every law Enforcement person is under a tremendous amount of stress caused by the obvious, ( without ) getting political. Some handle stress better than others, who knows what this person life is like after her shifts, or her daily life in general. For me I take it as the last straw. Her Chief, Colleagues, and Family, will help her. I feel for her and the many brave law enforcement officers especially during this terrible environment we are all under. |

. I'm sorry, but I must react to some of the previous posts. I ALWAYS put myself in other's shoes, attempting to see their point of view. First we have heard stories of LEO 'treatment' at some restaurants and such. Especially this past year. If there are some here who 'don't believe that - or ignore that', your head is in the sand. It happens and there is plenty of proof. Her video hit me especially hard as it is undoubtebly from her heart. For those that say she 'has other problems' or isn't the right material for a LEO', etc. please.... apparently these views are "slanted". How would YOU like her to be your daughter with that job? Or sister? Or grand daughter? Trying to serve the public, and lately possibly being treated as 'the enemy'. And having her health and life threatened every shift? Every time we go into a restaurant or store and encounter LEO or First Responders, I ALWAYS go up to them and THANK THEM from my heart. 99.5% are wonderful servents of the public and deserve our respect and praise for risking their lives. . .

When this episode happened , I said to my self I hope this woman gets help . No one delayed her meal on purpose, if you can’t do the job , find another one , there’s no shame in it . I spent 37 years around the world in stressful situations I saw very good men crack some came back others didn’t . Yes a police job may be harder now , but if your not up to it then leave it before you or someone else gets hurt

. "No one delayed her meal on purpose" OH please!!! And you know this - HOW? By your bias??? "if you can’t do the job , find another one" WHY? Have you NO compassion? "CAN'T do the job??? "I saw very good men crack" Perhaps a bit chauvenistic - yep - she's a woman, emotional...? perhaps bias is showing....? . .

I too would be skeptical of what might have been in the coffee if I was that young lady
Police put their lives on the line day in and day out, and being a Cop is a lot more stressful today....they shouldn't have to put up with this BS okay there's a few Cops that should never have been allowed to be Cops.... that's no excuse for all the stories that we've heard about biased people spitting on food Cops have ordered and other nefarious acts somehow a lot of folks have lost their moral compass and ability to accept that it's perfectly okay to have differences in opinion |

The woman stated that she didn’t think it was on purpose, I saw good men crack because that’s all I was with , you can have all the empathy in world for someone but if they can’t do the job find another one. I would not want my son or daughter to be partners in any risky business with any man or woman who is not fit and my personal observation of many female cops I see on street and in the gym in summer in Boston ( not this one) is that many are more fit then there male counterparts and bring a little more xtra to police work. I had many years in Vietnam , Laos and Cambodia during the war first as a paratrooper then a civilian after that many more years in Africa and central and South America good men crack, so do woman , there is no shame but yes find another job if you can’t do the job

You are so correct. Her video was her 15 minutes of fame. She should be suspended for what she did.
