Too many articles today about entitlement of desires. just another article tugging on the human narcissistic tendencies of the ego. Social media feeds right into that channel. If you want to own your own home, you have to work/save for it, and then work harder to keep it, and take a break from socials. .
house prices are very dependent upon location. New England is old, very little land left to build new, and currently, the economics are against the new homeowner. There will be other times the economics are with the home buyer, but more importantly, invest in your self first, work hard, get the appropriate education for your best success for a career, and then work harder/smarter, and look for a location within your means. . The human survival is not equal/not fair/not easy, no matter where you are. One has very few choices to get what they want properly. . If you have to live in a basement and work 12 hour days, so be it, but those that do, have a better chance. . . |

Answer, work for it! The younger generation seems so “entitled”. If you can’t afford a home, buy a trailer and live in it for a few years. Work your way up. One can also join the military for 4 years while they help pay for your college. Many of us were handed nothing, and made it through life just fine. You don’t need a 3 bedroom home with a couple of baths in a nice neighborhood starting out. Part of life and the educational process is figuring things out. The young need to stop their whining from entitlement dream land. If they are waiting for the government, or perhaps an inheritance, they will just lose it anyway. They don’t have the life skills to keep what many have earned.
