Default Not wearing a mask....

I have a gentleman who lives in my neighborhood who was diagnosed with Covid and was in Sam’s Club three days after his diagnosis without a mask on. He refuses to wear a mask because it fogs his glasses. These are the type of people you have to worry about.....you are not really safe anywhere.
I will continue to wear a mask until it is safe for everyone (that want’s and is waiting for a vaccine). If people don’t want a vaccine that is their choice, but I will follow the science. These people that don’t care about other people are not only playing Russian Roulette with their lives but with innocents as well.

I wear a mask when a business home requests it...otherwise I don't wear one.
Mortal1, you are mistaken. Droplets of moisture are expelled even when talking and breathing. Science my friend...science.

I, for one, will NOT be wearing a mask once vaccinated and past the waiting period.
Right with you on this. First of all I don’t wear a mask hardly ever now. I have had the first shot of the vaccine and getting the second next month. At that point in time I will not be wearing a mask. If someone wants to try to kick me out of a store they’re going to have a problem. It is not a law and people need to stop acting like it is. The degree of paranoid that exist among so many people Is alarming

Any business has the right to refuse service and ask you to leave. Masks are mandatory but you cannot be fined in Florida.

Of more concern is the effect on others and the fact that you can still carry the virus to others, yet not have the virus yourself. I think you will get a lot of pushback on this.

Not up to any of us to regulate what other's do, however protecting our fellow man should still be a concern since the mask is not designed to protect you, but rather to protect others.

After vaccination, you can still carry the virus in you nasal passages to others. Masks must continue until a level of immunity is reached. She was wearing the mask to protect others.

Great comment I agree wholeheartedly. The mask issue is lame if you are vaccinated immunity and otherwise healthy, those with health issues protect yourself but don’t expect the world to conform.

Once the vaccine is widely available and anyone can get it, we can remove the masks.

There is no reason at all to protect those who refuse to get the vaccine. That is a conscience decision to put their lives at risk.

The rest of humanity doesn't exist to protect those who refuse to protect themselves.

Unless you're wearing a sign on your chest that reads "I've had my vaccine"., I'll bet people give you a wide birth when they see that you aren't wearing a mask. I believe any business has a right to establish rules for the safety of their customers and wearing a mask during these turbulent times is for the protection of others. How about the "No shirt, no shoes, no service" sign, would you take issue with that? Personally, I would feel a lot better if everyone wore a mask, at least it shows me they care about someone other than themselves.

Thank you, that’s what was more concerning....

Since the point of wearing a mask is to prevent the wearer from spreading the virus, a mask is still necessary until everyone that wants to be vaccinated is vaccinated.

Those who refuse the vaccine are risking their lives so it's not the responsibility of every else to keep them safe once they've had the opportunity to get the shots.
Legitimate source???

There is no need to ever wear a mask alone in your car talking to a bank teller through the drive-through. You, for one, should continue to wear your mask after vaccination because you still may be able to transmit disease. Be part of the solution. Don’t be continuing the problem

Wrong as usual. Talking alone could potentially spread the virus. Continue to be part of the problem though

Great way to be part of the problem. It’s the people like you… And, any store can make a rule that you have to follow to enter their business. You don’t like it? Go somewhere else. You’re the one with the problem
