Do you actually know the definition of "marxism" or are you simply mouthing what someone told you ??

Let us all keep in mind that the unrest is by the very few that get the attention and coverage that makes it seem/feel more widespread.
In today's fast response media and social posting incidents are scaled to sensationalism to draw attention.

Note that in the rioting locations there is there rarely any contact by the reporting with the average citizenry just down the way.

That, to me is the trend...

It’s the far right and the far left that are the problems. The vast majority of us have good friends who are D’s and good friends who are R’s. and we are reasonable rational passionate Americans. As far as the looting and fires they were looters and criminals not one of us. As far as the threat emails, FBI reported they are coming from outside the USA not one of us reasonable Americans.

Want to bet if that candidate loses, there will be violence and in addition, want to guess who gets blamed.

Scary read about another of the ext reme and violent groups that are poised.

You are generally correct in your comments.

The extreme right wing groups are newer, and are getting attention from our highest leaders.

I suggest all read about these groups. They have been traveling all over our country, doing what they do. They are not only well armed, but trained in what they want to accomplish. This is not about a small group...these are people "looking for trouble" and until someone speaks out and condemns, they will become more emboldened and dangerous.

You recal, the outrage in Philadelphia a few years ago. I believe there were 3 men armed and alone at one polling place. Not an armed and trained militia.

The left wing groups have been around, not nearly as well armed or trained but certainly dangerous, but we only condemn them

Someone is going to get hurt.

We have become Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans, instead of being Americans either Republican or Democrat.

Wish I knew. If it were common knowledge, it would not be reported. Who is putting up bail money for those arrested? Why does Jerry Nadler refute the existence of antifa. Who is paying to bus these agitators in from other locations.

Strange, you do not mention the extreme right wing groups who agitate and in many cases are the only violence at these demonstrations, but the answer is the same for all who participate.

As to Nadler...he never said they did not exist...he said they were not in Portland. If you have evidence of him saying different let me know.

I do not condone any violence, but as we all know, some groups are accused on a very high national basis, BUT if you search out the truth, you find about the Proud Boys, the Boogallo' etc.

BOTH ARE BAD NEWS, but those right wing groups never get criticized nationally (certainly never on this forum).

We just continue to label everyone, and mimic what we are told to say.

Of corse ANTIFA has been responsible for some bad actions, but it seems that they stand alone in so many minds. and my opinion is, all this street crap continues until you (generic you) accept that fact. Recently, these extremely violent militia groups have been empowered and fear no criticism from any quarter

And by the way, I am not even close to defending Jerry Nadler. Not a fan, just tired of extremists (of any ilk or side) using our streets as a playground. They (all of them equally) need to be called out for their actions.

He did say the antifa violence in Portland was a myth.

That’s what I said, the Justice department said, the FBI said, and the local newspapers said. You said that he said they flat out didn’t exist.

And again, as said earlier ONLY ONE SIDE has said that publicly.

Any “side” who does anything has got to be “called on it”
