As to Nadler...he never said they did not exist...he said they were not in Portland. If you have evidence of him saying different let me know.

I do not condone any violence, but as we all know, some groups are accused on a very high national basis, BUT if you search out the truth, you find about the Proud Boys, the Boogallo' etc.

BOTH ARE BAD NEWS, but those right wing groups never get criticized nationally (certainly never on this forum).

We just continue to label everyone, and mimic what we are told to say.

Of corse ANTIFA has been responsible for some bad actions, but it seems that they stand alone in so many minds. and my opinion is, all this street crap continues until you (generic you) accept that fact. Recently, these extremely violent militia groups have been empowered and fear no criticism from any quarter

U.S. prosecutors do not charge Portland protesters with antifa ties | Reuters

And by the way, I am not even close to defending Jerry Nadler. Not a fan, just tired of extremists (of any ilk or side) using our streets as a playground. They (all of them equally) need to be called out for their actions.

corse ANTIFA has been responsible for some bad actions

Really some bad actions

I suggest all read about these groups. They have been traveling all over our country, doing what they do. They are not only well armed, but trained in what they want to accomplish. This is not about a small group...these are people "looking for trouble" and until someone speaks out and condemns, they will become more emboldened and dangerous.

You recal, the outrage in Philadelphia a few years ago. I believe there were 3 men armed and alone at one polling place. Not an armed and trained militia.

The left wing groups have been around, not nearly as well armed or trained but certainly dangerous, but we only condemn them

Someone is going to get hurt.

We have become Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans, instead of being Americans either Republican or Democrat.
General correct, like know more than other than reading someone a opinion.

And you were there? Naturally they where elsewhere to burn and loot.

This is terrifying. We never had this problem until now.

Have any of the 4 hour notices been for a general election uprising? I'm pretty old and I do not recall one time this happening until now. Wonder why that is?

Please follow the news on who actually has been arrested and charged with taking over and looting the police station and shouted "justice for George Floyd", yet they were actually right-wing extremists taking advantage of peaceful protests. The truth is not always followed up on when it doesn't suit the narrative.

The National Guard takes it's orders directly from the Governor of their State, not the Federal Government or any central authority....each state is going to mobilize differently, or not be asked to mobilize.

I mentioned the two, maybe 3 men brandishing unloaded weapons at one precinct in Philadelphia.

Pales to traveling militias, well trained, well armed and they get from place to place quickly.

If you have evidence of “sweeping under the rug”, present it and if your “source” had a shred of evidence, more than making false accusations would have been done.

I hate to say it, but after reading all of the replies from this one thread it would appear as if the Florida National Guard may have to be called to The Villages !!!! Are we going to go back to the "Friendliest Home Town" after this election or is our community going to be so divided we all won't even be able to go to the same Rec Center again? There is so much bitterness in these replies that it reminds me of my history classes when we learned about the events leading up to the Civil War where it was brother against brother and neighbor against neighbor. I can see it now, before you can enter a pool you will have to show your voter registration card indicating a D or an R instead of your Villager ID. For me, I'm voting for Jimmy Buffett for President !!!!!

What part of sweeping under the rug don’t understand? There no evidence other than video cause it was not investigated.

We all know who you think your referring to, but the reality is there’s only one party that hasn’t accepted the last 4 years vote...get over it, and leave your political remarks to yourself..
