That is exactly the playbook for handling an epidemic. It is exactly what Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Germany have successfully done to minimize CV. And what exactly the US did NOT accomplish. We should all hang in there a while longer for the safe way to achieve herd immunity with the vaccine. In the meantime, follow the CDC guidelines to do your part to slow the spread of the virus. There are too many people out there that do not believe in the CDC guidelines and look at where we are right now in this pandemic. Hospitals are becoming over whelmed not to mention our health care workers and first responders are are not only stressed out but can not keep up the pace to care for our sick. I can not believe this is the America we have right now. It is more like a nightmarish hell.

Yes, they ARE, that is an actually fact; that many are skilled at manipulation and emotional people are especially vulnerable !

But it can be over come if/when people conquer their emotional reactions (with professional help or can be done on their own with practice), and begin to verify ( don't look to Facebook for their facts, or even the CDC which revered gears again yesterday on exactly what masks can and can not do), but one CAN begin a routine of thinking rationally, not emotionally.

My take, and I may be incorrect in my thinking is this......
It takes time to conduct scientific trials and maybe the CDC has been conducting trials on different types of masks and how protective they are for the wearer and how they also perform as source control. They have some scientific answers recently and have shared those answers with the public. I'm glad science continues to do what they do best and that is conduct experiments and trials. Then answers change as more and more is known about any given subject. Thank you science and those who have devoted their lives to science.

Nowhere can I find the total of deaths for The Villages alone. Is this a big secret? Sumter, Marion, and Lake County stats are available. Why not death and hospitalization stats for The Villages?
