Default Appliance Replacement

Many factors as mentioned before...

But there is an old rule among home owners... If an appliance is over
8 to 10 yrs old... or if it should cost more than ⅓ of its value.. REPLACE!

Period.

do a google search on parts for your make & model.
Thetop is replaceable? We have a new Whirlpool self cleaning stainless range with a cracked top (smooth top stove). We purchased it when someone was upgrading their new appliances received when they bought a new house so we assumed it was without warranty to fix. Anyway, we already bought a new one and when they deliver it tomorrow, they will take away the one with the cracked top. If anyone wants it...speak up NOW or off it goes...brand new.

Couldn't be just the coil because nothing in the oven worked.
