It’s always a pleasure to play the newer courses south of the Turnpike.

Beautyberry continues to be in great shape. It’s evident that the maintenance crew is winning the battle against this seemingly endless draught .👏

I can summarize the entire course with just a couple of words. Nearly perfect !

I'll have to travel down there next and try that one next. I played Honey Suckle a few weeks ago. It was in really good condition.

I play Beautyberry almost every day. It has enough challenge that I feel less need to pay to play the championships so often. Two full length par 4s the longer of which is 400 yards. The easiest par 3 is #1 at 140 yards. The rest are longer, with the longest being just over 200 yards. Wind is often a factor. I find it to be a pretty good test even though it is an executive. If I make a 33, I feel I have done pretty well, even though that represents a differential of about 14.

Go play Truman. Just reopened and it’s got to be the best shape I have ever seen it

My usual group just actually did play it. It was in great shape.
