Default Hawkes Bay Executive

We played Hawkes Bay yesterday around noon .

The “report card” has this course rated as C +. That is HOGWASH !!!

Maybe if you exclude the greens, a C + would be appropriate.

The greens should be rated BIG FAT……F !!

Since it’s a grade relative to other courses, just imagine what the lower graded courses are like?

Default Golf course conditions

My wife and I played Hawks Bay on Sunday afternoon. Now this is a course that has just undergone renovation about 3 or 4 years ago. Nine out of nine greens were in unputtable conditions. Money is being wasted when, you can't even take care of a newly renovated green.

The front page of today's Daily Sun proclaims Villagers rave about the recently reopened Belmont EC. Let's see how long those great conditions last.
