I wonder if this guy is the same guy who pushed the woman at the square (I forget which one) when people were dancing. That incident was previously discussed in an earlier thread. If it's the same guy, he needs serious help and punishment.

I would love to think that in this wonderful community, you wouldn't have to worry about scary situations. But we all know they do exist.

I have been here alone for the last month (but hubby will be here around noon tomorrow ). At night I get up a couple of times because I hear strange noises, but it's always something silly, just the sounds of a different house. And not being used to sleeping alone.

And I love driving the cart as much as possible. But find if I am to be out after dark, I take the car. I have a little fear of going thru those tunnels alone in the dark. I prefer my car that I can lock if I get the urge. Is that silly??? Has anyone else felt that way.
Hopefully after I get really used to the paths and no longer get lost, I'll get over that fear...
I've probably just watched too many scary movies lately!!!LOL! op:

I generally take the car at night unless I make a neighborhood trip. The tunnels are not my favorite place at night, for sure.
I have gone the wrong way on the paths several times and laugh out loud at myself for doing it wrong again. I am sure people passing me must think I am a bit loony.

The ending is probably a long time from now. I did see in the paper that he was arrested and charged with dui, assault and battery and something else (forget now). Don't remember the bond (I assume that's bail amount) but do remember thinking it wasn't nearly high enough.

MintJulep,

I dont think your being silly at all. If it makes you feel better to take the car at night then by all means do. Scary movies or not, the fact is you probably are safer in the car at night then a golf cart. I do the same thing. Always was afraid of the dark LOL!

What I want to know is why the woman's husband didn't do anything? He was sitting in the car with his wife.
