Have to disagree. IF it isn't cool, then why do we have all these parades celebrating it?? They have all come out of the closet and are proud of it (even the sports figures) It's the new norm. Next it's bi for the new norm and then on and on. The traditional man and woman no longer "cool" That's why we have classes and clubs on gay now. If they were so hated, they wouldn't be celebrating their lifestyle in schools

Personally, I don't care what one does in their own bedroom. However I do care when it is being brought into our kids schools and influences them. They should keep their private life private and not flaunt it like so many do. Take sex out of the schools and bring in "history" Maybe we can become the smartest in the world again instead of the dumbest. dumbing down is destroying our country. The attitude of "hey anything goes" is not ok. Hey let's smoke some weed and just pop a morning after pill is about as dumb as one can get. Morality is gone . How pathetic we have become.

I'm not going to get in depth with you, but let me leave you with the thought that it also used to be considered "moral" to own other human beings, deny women the right to vote, denigrate/discriminate/segregate based on the color of skin and prohibit different races from marrying.

guess I'm old fashioned. I believe in morals and values. Not too many of my type around anymore. But I raised two good kids who know right from wrong. That brings me peace.

I raised three....with the same attributes.

They are also tolerant of others....who are not hurting anyone else.

Just out of curiosity, how would you treat one of your two....if they told you they were gay?

Excellent summary of the issue, On Track! Hate crimes are finally punished. All types of bullying need to be addressed. Communication and better understanding are foundations for mutual respect.
