BTW: Don't let anyone BS you about range. I live south of 466A and have taken my cart to Terra del Sol, Hacienda Hills, Nancy Lopez and Glenview to play golf and then afterward down to Brownwood for dinner all on one charge. |

I also own a Star brand. No problems and plenty of battery for trips to Spanish Springs to Middleton the same day. Very quiet with great pickup.
Bought from The Villages golf carts. In my opinion it is worth the expense. |

Yea, for their fleet model. With the standard mods everyone does - controller and motor, they get up to 30 mph+

Problem with Yamaha electric is you are stuck at 19.5 mph and a low range 105ah lithium battery. I suspect this is why TVGC doesn't sell them. I have a 2017 Yamaha AC with a Navitas controller and 150ah lithium battery I put together myself. It really is a good cart and never a problem. I can dial in torque and MPH using a bluetooth smart phone.

Safest choice. Been selling lithium electric carts longer than anyone else down here. No problem with parts if you need them, but reliability is excellent, so not an issue.

Yes, as a fairly accurate rule-of-thumb, electric golf carts are capable of about 7 miles per kWh of energy in their battery. The electric Yamaha cart has a 5.736 kWh Li battery (51.2 volts X 106 Ah = 5736 Wh, 7 X 5.74 = ~40miles) according to their literature. That's good for a range of about 40 miles. Obviously, this can vary slightly based on cart weight and speed.

If you you're here year round (with the intense heat), I would visit the atomic cool cart shop in Wildwood. Having AC, radio, and GPS is a huge benefit. Also, I believe the carts are reinforced a bit. We love ours..
