Default To all the good behaved Golfers out there

Here are some photos from my neighbor who is not a avid golfer but is confused by the bad behavior out there.
Here we are after 7pm Friday (yesterday) on Bonifay course which was closed by a sign by the starter shack which i notice going home.
Now mind you we just had 1 inch of rain just less than an hour ago, which is my understanding that closed the course. Here is this moron playing hide and go seek for his ball, furthermore which shouldn't even be on the course in the first place, and is causing damage to the turf by driving on it after a heavy rain i am told by golfer ambassador
(i don't know if that is true or not, but the storm and lightning could be a problem also)?
Did he pay for his round of golf or was he stealing golf after the course was closed HMMMMMMM.
Not even 5 minute after he left that hole the sprinklers came on at the course which probably ended his day of stealing golf, lol

Yep, I see it all the time. People sneaking on after the ambassadors leave, non-golfers going for a joy ride on the course. Walkers. People playing with their dog. people hunting golf balls in the environmentally restricted zones. Grandkids fishing. Even an occasional cyclist. The word is TRESPASSING, and it is against the law

Yup so true GE 810.09 is very clear and i don't know why the courses don't start prosecuting some of these people. It gives the good golfers a bad reputation. Its funning you said bicyclist, when i lived on a golf course some idiot riding a bike on the course cut through my property, you can't make this stuff up lol

The photos don't show a golf cart or golf bag. So you can't tell from the photo if the person is a golfer or not. If he is a golfer, 7pm is not particularly late to be out of the course. If he is not a golfer, then he should not be there.

The starter may leave at or before 7 and probably does, but players that tee off before 7 can still play until dark. We don't know what hole number this is from the picture, but if he is a golfer he could have teed off hours ago. The rates drop at 3 pm, so lots of guys go after 3pm and then they are still golfing after 7 pm.

If they close the course due to heavy rain or lightning, and they usually don't, they don't blow a horn and they don't send ambassadors out to clear the course. They should but they don't. They just quit sending out groups. Players may just find a sheltered spot and wait it out, and they sometimes do. It looks like the weather cleared in the photo.

If he is a player, he appears to be in bounds, so he is not trespassing on any neighbor's property, at least at the time of the photo.

You may want to reread the first post,I didn't want to upload the whole video out of respect for the neighbor, he did have a golf cart, he was playing golf and the ambassador said the course was shut down an hour before so he wasn't supposed to be out there, they know who he is, he's going to charge him for the round just a FYI.
BTW it would have taken him 45 minutes to get to that hole from the starter shack so it's definitely clear he was trying to steal golf, I just didn't decide to post a legal golfer playing golf. As GE says this happens all the time.

As someone who frequently tries to squeeze in 18 holes late in the day at the substantially discounted evening rate, it’s not unusual for me do be legitimately playing right up to sunset and well after the ambassadors have gone home for the day. I’m not trying to say the golfer legitimately paid to play, but it’s a distinct possibility. Once one pays to go out during the evening rate, there are no rain checks, but the golfer has the right to sit out a storm and continue the round even if they aren’t letting out golfers just starting out. There is no excuse for driving on a wet fairway after a big storm, but if the golfer is driving golf cart path only it’s all good. Check the video and look to see If the sticker is attached to the front drivers side roof support bar that they give to evening golfers to indicate they have paid for their round. If it’s clearly there, the golfer isn’t necessarily breaking any rules.

And dam, I had to a double take when I looked at the pictures. Just to be sure, I showed the pictures to my wife. She said if that guy dropped about 25 pounds, had on a golf hat, and wasn’t wearing those ugly sox, it could easily be me?

Thank you, we are aware of the stickers and that's why we said he was on the course when he should not have been.
And yes he was driving on the fairways as well. Whether or not the lightning AND Storm bothered him, it was foolish for him to be out there with a lightning rod in his hand. JMHO

810.09 is one of the laws that should be enforced? Good to know. Just curious, is that land posted as defined by 810.011(5) as required by 810.09(1)(a)1?

Just FYI under 810 does not have to be posted and the property line has a clear declination to someone can't say they didn't know where the bounders were.

Did you read that somewhere in 810.09 or is that just what you would like it to say? (I’m still looking)

Note: there ought to be a way to keep trespassers off, especially those that cause damage. But, when we quote the law we need to quote it correctly and if we insist that laws be enforced then we should insist that all laws be enforced including those we find inconvenient.

Read a 810 completely and we're refers to I don't search for people it's a waste of my time. And it certainly is what it says and not what I wanted to say!

I have read it and there is nothing in there that describes a golf course.

You don’t need to do my research for me but it would be beneficial if you did your own and provided valid citations for your “facts.”

OMG of course it's not going to refer to each individual partial it reaches out to trespassing as a whole unbelievable

When you have a valid citations, let us know.

The valid situation is simply this as the saying goes you can't fix stupid people.
That individual did not pay for his rounds of golf and he's on the course that's considered trespassing read 810 for the love of God
