Why not simply restrict all carts to the cart paths and stop the wear/tear damage to courses , no matter how many carts

Very sorry to hear of his illness. I wish him all the best.

Being ignorant is a choice a person makes even though they have the proper information available. Being stupid is not knowing the information they require is available.
You can still get Covid, even when vaccinated. It may not be as bad, but you can still get it.

This is typical for TOTV, thread starts, posters change the direction of the post! This IS NOT about trail fees. And NO just because you pay a trail fee you HAVE THE RIGHT to drive your own cart. It gives you the right NOT to have pay every time when you ride in a cart. The two cart change is just GOING BACK to the rules before COVID. The rules then were simple if you take more then 2 carts, ONLY two can be in the fairway at a time. Folks it is THAT SIMPLE! Golfers complain about the conditions, then complain because they can't take four carts on the fairways.

The executive courses have cart paths(unless it's a par four) that you have to stay on unless you have a CAP. No more RA's.
I believe the doubling up only applies to championship courses and most of them have limited cart paths, not throughout the entire holes.

I have played so called Championship golf courses every day for the past 4 years and I will tell you that I find no difference in the condition of the courses for the past 4 years even though the allowed 4 carts to ride in the fairways. I think you have to agree that no two carts ride exactly on the same path when driving to their ball in the fairway. I will probably have a problem since my wife has Dementia and I have a heart problem and have a handicap card. If there are 3 carts do I, since I have a Spectator, have to ride on the cart path? They should make an exception for the handicapped and allow them to ride at the 90 degree rule. This is my only enjoyment in the Villages and at almost 92 years old I feel the powers to be should have a little compassion for the golfers with disabilities and grant them this privilege. I play in the afternoons every day and this should not be a problem.
