Mike Girard at Tree Tops is the best in the area. He's very good with beginners as well as single digit golfers.

I like Sandra Chester (Golf Your Best, Inc. - Home). She used to be with TV at Lopez - now on her own out at the new Oxford Driving Range. She works with both men and women, is an LPGA Professional. Has great rates and loads of different packages. She works with all level of players.
She's helped me through a bad hip and a hip replacement. I'm truly golfing my best thanks to her.

Yesterday I took my first lesson from Dave Clark at Buffalo Junction Practice Center (behind walmart on 466). I've been golfing for over 40 years and have had many lessons up north years ago. My game has been off lately. I brought all my clubs. He started with pitching wedge. Told me to take a few swings then hit a couple of balls. He immediately told me what I was doing wrong and why. I was a single cap years ago and now hv 12.3 index. What i was doing now i hv been doing for years and never knew it.. my divot wd begin just in front of the ball. what distance i was losing (thought it was my "senior-ness") anyway,he taught me how to correct it. I highly recommend him for this. He is the type of teacher to work with your swing not make you start over with "the one swing for everyone".

Default Tree tops

Never golfed much at all (and that was as a kid). Took lessons (1 week) from Mike at Tree Tops. Thought lessons were great! Can actually hit a ball pretty far and straight!
Very conscientious and patient. Well worth the time and investment.

I think the best golf instructor around is Sandra Chester (previously at Lopez, now at Oxford Driving Range on Hwy. 301) Have had huge success since working with her.

Barney Beard! My husband and I went to him. He's very good and personable. He's at the rolling acres driving range. My game has improved 100%

Don't Take lessons, it will ruin your game and you will never understand the jargon or know what to do with the hoola hopp.

My wife and I like Barney Beard at Lady Lake. He keeps it simple. First lesson is free.
