Default Good deed/deal for golfers, today!

For all those who think a Range Finder will improve their golf scores.

This is only good for a couple of more hours.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPT7WFWZ...9f5c60cd7e09bb

Use Discount Code: H8JVEHQU

Range Finder with Slope $21.

it's a decent unit. I bought one for an extra.

While you're at it, if you never want to lose your Range Finder again, you need these for $18. It might take 2 hands to tear your Range Finder off the Magnet, it's so strong. Attaches right to your golf bag.

Thanks, just ordered one. Don’t really need it, already have a nice Nikon, but can’t beat the price and good to have a backup. Wish it had a replaceable battery instead of having to plug it in to recharge, but at that price I’ll live with it.

You need to use the Discount Code, then refresh your "Cart" .... when you "check out", you'll see the adjusted price.

You're welcome.

The last expensive unit I bought, I insisted on a Battery Unit.

Then I bought an inexpensive "backup", that was re-chargeable. The charge lasts for something like 4000 shots. Almost every new RangeFinder is of the re-chargeable variety and now that I've played with one, it's the way to go!

If It makes you feel any better, I was once at a Town Meeting for an important vote. The Chairman of the Board of Selectmen stood up and said, "I don't want to be quoted in the newspaper as agreeing with BrianL, but I agree 100%".

Tempting to get a cheap back up.

But instead of gluing things to my electronics, I use one of these. Magnet works fine on my cart. Can clip to my bag if I don't have cart. Hard shell case protects it (which has come in handy once or twice).

Buy the $21 backup, it come with a similar case ... free.

First thing I do when I buy a rangefinder, is throw away the case. I've never figured out why anyone would use one ... they're a pain in the butt IMO.

I do too, and agree. Except, I don't really throw out the cases, they are too nice. So I end up with an unused rangefinder case cluttering up my life.

To each their own. I have a nikon because it has image stabilization (surprises me others don't). Cost me hundreds. So yes, I will protect it with a hard shell case. Using it when it attached to my golf cart is as easy as pie. I haven't met a magnetized product yet that hasn't come dislodged if you happen to hit a big bump. No worries for me in a hard shell case.

I suspect I wouldn' be as worried about a $21 item.

My golf game doesn't justify a $500 range finder with image stabilization. I can however justify an extra $21 one, in my backup golf bag.

I have two older Nikon Coolshot models, without the image stabilization feature, for both my Northern and Villages golf bags. Both worked quickly and flawlessly when most golf courses used to have reflectors on the golf pins. Without the reflectors, it’s still pretty easy to shot the flags from about 150 yards or less, especially when the wind is blowing the flag. It can be way more difficult to quickly get a yardage from two hundred yards on a calm day with a limp flag. I really wish they would go back to having the reflectors on the pins, it’s a very small thing for the resulting increase in pace of play. Perhaps it’s just me, but I strongly prefer to use a rangefinder over a GPS based app, plus the rangefinder comes in handy in my tree stand when deer hunting.
