It's to cover the 25% tax increase. When taxes go up 25% every business raises their prices to cover it. So consumers get hit multiple times.

Another instance of the few getting more air play than deserved....hence sounding more prevalent than in reality!!!!! I file it under

Since 2010, winter rates have increased about $15. That's about $1.50 a year. Just saying.

I am not sure where you gather your information but the rate at Tierra Del Sol went up $12 for a resident golfer from last year to this year. That’s exactly $12 a year. Just saying.

The same way you approach/fight price increases at Publix, gas stations, etc.
Wait, you had something more sinister in mind?

Sorry but..... a good place for you to start would be to educate yourself on the issue. Get the figures and do the homework. The correct figures - NOT the apples and oranges the "online rag" used and the OP fell for. The "rag" did the story because it's a "hater" and the OP repeated it because..... only he knows for sure but I've made my guess!

Isn't this the time of the year when the "special summer prices" for the country club courses go back up?? The summer prices are quite reasonable.

I think the 'other site' has taken a lesson from Russian Television on how to spread alarm and despondancy!!

Default Here We Go Again

When you compare summer 2019 to winter 2020, then the increase is REALLY big. That is exactly what happened to get so many knickers in a twist. Everything goes up, sorry. I used to get TOP PAY at $3.50 an hour, too. I could also buy groceries in big paper bags for $20.00 or less and had to maneuver to get them all in the car. Now, $20.00 won't even fill a small bag.

Thank you. Championship golf has always been unaffordable for some, so why should it be a problem now? Not everyone here can afford the same things; so what? Many can afford golf, but choose not to play. That doesn't mean that everyone else has to give it up or go elsewhere. Not everyone has the same expensive house; some are inexpensive. There is SOMETHING for everyone. Me, I am both happy and grateful. Thankful for not only what I have, but for what others have that makes them happy and blessed, too.

Just think of it as a better deal than what one pays for a smart phone and the monthly fees, or cable TV fees or the outrageous price for bottled water (available everywhere for FREE!!!!).

To name a very few that rape the pricing regularly....Really!!!!
