Default Hard to get tee times???

Anyone else having a hard time getting tee times? We have been shut out 3 times this week. We put in a good selection of courses (around 17) and a 6 hour window (like to play between 11am and 2pm). Any suggestions?

do you have guests ? If a guest is on the request, your request goes to the bottom of the list. This time of year, that probably means you won't play.

Our friends are renting for 2 months. Not sure if their ID is considered a guest pass. If yes, then that's the problem. Thanks

Although we enter "no guests" on the request.

I play with a group of 16-20 women on the executive courses on Tuesday. We always put in ALL courses and play time from 8:00 to 1:00. In the last 5 years we have never been denied a tee time. We do time overr course. In the sumer months we put in fewer course.

If you're not flexible with time...you won't get a t-time this time of year. It's just a fact of life. The folks I know who golf say to put your name at a bunch of times and then a bunch of courses. It's a lottery system after all. Good luck!!

Why not try and going outside of the Villages? There are lots and lots of golf courses and they have GREAT rates for the winter and there are always specials in the newspaper.

The developer hasn't kept up with the courses. More houses and people than golf courses. I was told that the pools, rec centers, and golf courses where suppose to be built before the houses where put up. I guess they have fallen behind with the amenities !!!!!!! Just saying.

As far as executive courses, we are a little short right now. The only course that has opened in the last couple of years is Palmetto, while building has continued. But two championship courses have opened as well as rec centers in the newer areas. So, I think saying the developer has fallen behind with the amenities is only accurate with regard to one aspect of the amenities, although a popular one.

Kit, if they have 6 digit ID numbers theey are not guest passes. Guest passes have 7 digit numbers and cannot be entered in the system.

Also, there were 5 courses opened within the span of about a year back in 2010(?) .... Yankee, So Star, Tarpon, Redfish, and Bonita Pass. Once those were all open I didn't hear many complaints about getting bumped. Another way to look at it is they were ahead of the plan then and now the population has caught up and exceeded capacity. I do agree that building and launching execs south of 466a seems to have lagged.
