Neither is what is being played on an executive course on any given day.
65 yrd par 3's? 225 yard par 4's?
drop area?
do you see provisional balls being hit
or anyone walking back if they can't find a ball
mulligans?

My ideas are meant to improve golf skills while speeding up play.

For golfers who really want to improve their skills---practice putting to a 3 inch hole---the 4 1/4 on the course will look like 15" to you

I mentioned that in a previous post. We played a country club against another team that had that size hole on their practice green. You are absolutely right about how it improves your aiming.

After I do that, I'll try chipping and pitching to a 5 foot green, then driving to a 7 yard wide fairway. I'll either improve or put a bullet in my head
