Default Lady Golfers

Are there Ladies Golf Groups on either the Champion or Executive Courses? I am widowed and when I get to TV I will be looking to meet other ladies with whom to golf. I haven't golfed in a couple of years so I'm sure I will start out on the Executive Courses until I regain my self-confidence. Previously I usually golfed with my husand so I'm charting new territory here. Any suggestions?

When you make your tee times on the Executive courses, you will be paired up with people each time. I suspect gradually you'll meet other people to play golf with. Also, there are several singles groups, and singles golf groups in the Villages that you can join. They have golf outings and other social events, and its a way of meeting other women and/or men to golf and socialize with. And, there are Men's days and Ladies Days on both the Executive and Championship courses. That's probably the best way to meet other women golfers. Your neighborhood may have a golf group as well. Best of luck!

Taylor .... there is Ladies Day every Wed on several Executive courses. This is played as a best ball scramble. Nice way to meet people from all over. As you get here and get settled in you will probably discover ladies groups for your neighborhood or Villages.

Also, with the tee time system you can look for open tee times and try to find a group with 2 or 3 females and plug yourself in. When I first started playing golf I picked up these random spots quite frequently. It was a great way to meet folks from all over the Villages ... and, we all have that common bond, so, having a friendly round was the norm. Fear not, as long as you are friendly and outgoing, you'll enjoy the golf here on your own until you get into some established groups.
