Actually I think the next hole #6 at El Diablo from the black tees is very hard. Water on the right and that bunker by the green swallows up golf balls all the time.

#6 - Amberwood - Longest Par 4 on Executive courses. 402 yards from the back tee box. Green is big, flat, and easy, but it takes two big hits to get near it.

#1 at Hilltop from both tees. Tiny green surrounded by bunkers. Each bunker is bigger than the green. Hope it was enlarged when they renovated the course.

2nd choice #2 at Oakleigh. Almost impossible to hit green due to huge bunker in front of green.

I don't know what a "good repeating swing" is. When I watch the pros on television, they seem to spray it all over the course - sometimes left rough, sometimes right rough, sometimes out of bounds, and sometimes right down the middle. There are only three golfers on tour who hit 70% or more of their fairways. And Rory only hits about 53% of his fairways.

For a par 3 between 125-150, the tour pro average is 69.34%

All of the holes mentioned are good choices. I am going add #9 at Redfish Run. Carry over water to a sloping two level green. Also, one of the prettiest holes.

The only Bailout is LONG. Hole can play 180 yds into the wind. Water all along left and front left of green. Trees all up the left side and close.
(Pelican has several 'mentally tough' holes - love the swamp shots!)
Agree, and it's right after the par 4 hole. For my skill level, the best thing to do is take a shorter, but straight shot. If you aren't that good (and I fully admit my shortcomings), trying to land it on the green is an exercise in frustration and ball loss.
