Default When your cart breaks down on a championship course

Recently played Mallory and the other cart in our group broke down. Not knowing what to do, we drove home to get another cart while those behind us played through. Stopped at the starter shack and told them what we were doing and they just said ok. Took about 20 minutes round trip.

When we got back with an extra cart, we found that two ambassaders had come by to take care of the problem. They brought one of the rental carts by if we wanted to use it at no cost, and towed the disabled cart back to the parking lot.

I had no idea they provided this service.

So, if it happens to you, just call the clubhouse and save yourself a lot of trouble.

Default Golf course---Golf cart

My receint experience with helpful golf course people happened a few weeks ago. My street was being repaved and I couldn't get through as all traffic was being detoured. So, rather than going from Morse B'lvd around to Avenida Central, I decided to take a short cut around Hacienda Hills/Oaks golf course. I found a curb cut and proceeded to ride along the right flank of the course. I was doing fine but instead of staying on the rough side of the course and on to the cart path I looked down the fairway saw no golfers and decided to shorten my ride. I would just make a left, go across the fairway and be home in a minute. Instead I wound up stuck in a small unseen mud hole. I was unable to get the cart out by myself ,but along came a foursome and decided to help. They tried to push me out by hand w/o results and were slowly getting covered with mud.I'll try to shorten this tale just by saying they got my cart out (one golfer had a tow rope) but they were all covered in mud and would not accept any clean clothes from me. I felt so bad as I watched them finish the hole and drive off with a cart and clothing covered in mud. Love golfers.

I am surprised that you folks just didn't go to the club house and rent cart in the first place?

Kudos to the staff at the golf courses. We had a flat tire one time. They fixed the tire, and lent us a cart to finish our round while they were repairing our tire.
