Anyone have any experience with this lady? I think she is taking advantage of some seniors in selling REIT's and such that are not on the stock market yet...dangerous to 85 year old folks...

I don't know anything about the person listed above. But, way too many people sell non-traded REITs or private REITs in TV.
In fact, you may have them in your portfolio and not know it. If you have a broker or anyone who is not a fiduciary, they have a big incentive to sell you high commission products. This is why there are so many seminars in TV. Most investors in TV could avoid getting sold expensive and high commission products if they would only work with a low-cost, fee-only Advisor (not fee based, not insurance rep). This person needs to be a fiduciary for you 100% of the time. If your Advisor sells you A, B or C shares or any funds with 12b-1 commissions, they are a fee based Advisor and not a fiduciary. REITs have been a good asset class. Vanguard REIT is up 16% this year. Here is the investor alert regarding non-traded REIT’s from FINRA Quote:
Good luck. |
