It's sad but true...our best friend was an a**aholic! He drove us absolutely nuts and made us furious more than once.

For example, the time a bunch of us adults loaded in our van for a Sunday day trip. At a gas station HE was outside pumping gas when another friend opened up the van window to talk to him. HE grabbed the friend's hair, pulled his head out the window then started shouting bl*w jobs for sale.

Another time when neighbors were at church, he decided to make a change to their landscaping. They had a tree in the front yard he didn't like so he set it on fire. Needless to say, the tree didn't survive. The funny thing is...we were all good, close friends and the neighbors just laughed about it.

Then...a neighbor was going through a divorce and had a date over for a grilled steak dinner. HE kept sneaking over and shutting the grill burners off. HE thought it was so funny to mess with the neighbor's first date encounter.

I could go on and on...yes, he was certainly an a**aholic!

Unfortunately HE died suddenly of a heart attack at the young age of 49. I wish he were back here with us. I'd never complain about his behavior again if only I could get him back.

bright -

OMG - Can't imagine some of the things he did !!!
Did he have a wife and children?
I would think most would leave the craziness to that extent behind with immaturity (and I'm not a prude). Sad about his untimely death.
