I've never seen a chicken smoke a cigarette. I assume the symbolism is supposed to imply that the chicken "laid" the egg. Question! Are we to assume the "chicken" was actually a rooster? That would change one's interpretation of the term "laid". One must then assume a certain kinky fetish of this particular rooster that would consider, um, having, er, intimate relations with the most youthful members of his species.
One wonders if this "chicken", presumed " rooster" is of the Jeffrey Epstein breed? I believe I heard somewhere that "they like them on the young side".
How bizarre! 🤔

See what you make of this. Creation, by evolution?

All this talk of eggs and chickens is making me hungry. How about two eggs, over easy, side of chicken sausage, with sourdough toast and coffee?
Later, gators. 😋

I still cannot get how with natural selection you get anything out of nothing unless something creates it? And brings some kind of structure to it? DNA, for instance? A big bang and then, what? An egg? A cell? A chicken?

Here we are, a tiny collection of elements with some remarkable (at least, to us) qualities. Adrift on a smallish planet, orbiting an unremarkable star at the far reaches of one arm of a, somewhat average, spiral galaxy. A galaxy with billions of stars. One galaxy among billions in one of possibly (probably) many more (infinite) universes.
If (IF God, or God's, exist that bother to care for or concern themselves with us, I doubt their size, strength or power to be the ultimate creator. More likely just another collection of elements with abilities different than our own. Or, maybe just a figment of our imagination and/ur desires.

Creature’s living in water need not to be on ark. Cause it was flood. Do to flood in that area, only air breathing creatures in that area need to be in the ark.

My post was "tongue in cheek". Dolphins, whales, walrus and seagulls breath air. Seals, sealions, walrus rest on shore or floating objects. Sea birds of all kinds need shelter during storms. Sea life is suseptible to rapid temperature and salinity changes (climate change). Undoubtedly, 40 days and nights of storms severe enough to cover the earth would be deadly to all life forms right down to the bottom of the seas deepest areas. Sediment washed into the seas and dramatic increase in pressures 8n the deep sea, and decreas at new sea level above the highest mountains.
Soooo much fuss when God, who created the heaven and earth in only 7 days, could wipe humans out and (presumably) repopulate the world with a better, kinder mor loving human species.

Not quite that kind of argument. Watchmaker analogy - Wikipedia

More like how can you get anything from nothing?

How the Universe really makes something from nothing - Big Think

"Probably"? While I accept that, I'm not sure that the Bible doesn't say/imply the flood covered the world.

Small, smaller, smallest!? Elementary physics says there is matter, and there is energy. Matter can be converted into energy, and energy can be converted into Matter. Using your body for demonstration purposes, say you eat a hearty breakfast. Your body, through natural processes converts some of the breakfast matter into energy so you can do whatever you want to do.
Physics is Phascinating. And Google can help you find answers.
