Default Video Games - Anybody?

I know we're not teeny-boppers, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy things that are typically thought of as for the younger crowd. And with all the sub-categories under "Recreation in The Villages", none include video games. Does anybody besides me partake?

I don't live in TV yet, but will likely be moving the first part of next year. I'm looking forward to golf, pickleball, clubs, biking, entertainment and lots of other things that TV offers. But I'll still play video games.

Come on...fess up...don't be embarrassed...I know you're out there!!

I'm a village gamer currently playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and a little Tiger Woods from time to time. Modern day high definition 3D online multiplayer gaming is unbelievably good. I like to connect and play with my friends back in St Louis. Most people don't realize it's a very social activity.

A reply! At last!

You're so right...the technology behind the gaming is incredible and the diversity offers something for almost anybody. It can be such a social experience, especially for keeping in touch with friends and family who might otherwise be out-of-touch except for maybe an occasional phone call or so. Word games, puzzle games, music games, the more classic action games...so much to pick from.

I believe many from our generation dismiss these games as belonging exclusively to the younger folks. But there is a lot to be enjoyed by the kid in all of us. There is a group for almost every activity known to man in TV...I've surprised there is none for video/internet gaming (not of the gambling sort...heheh).
