Default 224.59. There goes my blood pressure.

You may get this reference or not.

Anyway. Are there TOTVers who have tried to get on FunTrivia over the past hour or so? I watched an Olympic woman figure skater win the Gold with a score of 224.59 and then I tried to play some games on FunTrivia but lost a connection to it while in the middle of Mind Melt. Hard Mind Meld today but I do not think I was tempting the Gods to get it right.

I still have a Knockout game too that I need to complete before 1 a.m. Villages time or else I forfeit.

224.59 is a crazy number as one of the Figure Skating commentators mentioned. I play various games with identifier Taltarzac224 on FunTrivia as well as Taltarzac 224613 and variations of these. Just one of the strange co-incidences life sends you! I have used 224 and 613 since mid 1993 in my massive fight for access for victims of crimes to practical information but do not remember sending any e-mails or snail mail or anything else to Russia. Probably sent them everywhere else except Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan however and have used them on and off on Talk of the Villages as well.

The Olympic Ice Skating Female Sochi Gold Medalist did have a great run. Her insane score is just something that really got my attention.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about.

That's OK. I probably do not either. Nobody tells me much of anything. I just have been fighting to get better more practical materials into libraries of all kinds all over the world since 1992 or so. I have written 100,000s of e-mails and snail mail messages since 1991 or so but have no idea if any of these have even been read. I did get nominated to 24 Marquis Who's Who publications --including several editions of Marquis Who's Who in the World-- since 1992 or so but who actually reads those except maybe for other people also listed in them like some of the people who win Gold, Silver and Bronze at various Olympics?

I have a JD from the University of Minnesota from the Class of 1989, a MA in Librarianship from the University of Denver Graduate School of Librarianship and Information Management Class of 1984, a BA in History from the University of Nevada, Reno from the Class of 1981, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Nevada, Reno Class of 1980. These 4 degrees do give me a little bit if credibility as well as a little bit of knowledge about whom I should contact. Which I have used since 1991 after being basically kicked out of law librarianship for crossing a very powerful clique who had some connections to some top US institutions. I wanted to talk about a glaring niche in practical materials accessible for victims of crimes in many law libraries and other types of libraries in the US which I had discovered after the 2-24 murder of my high school English teacher Mrs. Barbara Mitchell's daughter Michelle Mitchell. This was while I was at Earl Wooster High School in Reno, Nevada while I was in her remedial English class in 1976. Of course, I did not notice this chasm overnight but found it while earning those 4 degrees. I was 17 in 1976 and was born in Wisconsin on February 24, 1959.

Gary Corsair, the reporter from the Villages Daily Sun had done an article about my own local efforts to get the Florida Victim Services Directory connected to the Sumter, Lake and Marion County public library websites. This was back in May of 2007. The last I looked none of these libraries had these connections. The Lake County Library System did have one for a little while but also the last I looked has some kind of social service search engine that would get you there eventually. Kind of like driving to Miami to get to Orlando from the Villages.

Incidentally, FunTrivia is back up finally. It has some good Quizzes on preventing domestic violence and the like.

I added a link to one of the Quizzes on Domestic Violence on FunTrivia.

There is a small group of us on TOTV who play daily Trivia Quizzes for a Private Group of TOTVers. Kind of fun. Here's a link to that-- http://www.funtrivia.com/private/main.cfm?tid=101297

This is a good way to keep your wits' sharp.

I probably play 25 or so other private Quizzes on FunTrivia every once in a while. Not every day though as there is a lot of repetition of these Quizzes and its gets a bit boring. Some people get incredibly fast with their answers. You are allowed to play in more than one private tournaments but need to use just one identifier to play games on the main FunTrivia site.

I have authored some Quizzes with Sochi connections including one on Sochi, one on Lolo Jones, and am working on some others.

It has been a common occurrence to me the past couple of days. You click on the complete the quiz button and the screen sits there and the working arrow spins. I usually sign off and wait until later to try again.
