Powerless in Cincinnati
Yesterday morning, I left a Valentine Day caption underneath that frog, that frog who looks to me like he has "The Look of Love" in his eyes.
And then I left. And then I returned in late afternoon. And then, and then, I looked in at TOTV, only to find that, once again, Mr. Tony is besmirching English majors. And, and, and, I saw that Kathie is joining Mr. Tony's posse, and Chelsea points out Mr. Tony's misguided theories and then ducks. So there I was. In front of my computer. Searching the recesses of my winter-weary brain. Trying to come up with a comeback. A comeback full of pith and vinegar. And that is when the power went out. High, howling winds in Cincinnati. And it stayed out until late last night. There I was. Powerless to defend English majors. Powerless in Cincinnati. And this morning, I got nuthin' so far for those bowling ladies. Alas. Yesterday, I, the suspected English major, wrote a caption about eternal love. Mr. Tony, the math & science geek, wrote one about...... wellllll........ I guess it was about puke. What can I say?
