CASH CAB ON THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL
If you are a people watcher, enjoy quizzes and riding through Manhattan, you will enjoy a TV program I just happened upon this morning at 11:00. Cash Cab, a new quiz program.

Thanks, W: Since its still early here, I can see it later. Actually I taped it in case I get busy. I love that channel, isn't it great. My favorite show is, "How it's Made", I guess it the manufacturing engineer in me that likes that sort of thing.

I taped it this week, thanks to wiw. I like it a lot, its fun to watch New Yorkers, they are so animated and not as nasty as people think.
They do have a disclaimer that says they advise the players of the show before they get into the cab, which sort of ruined it for me a little. But its better than some guy coming into the cab with a gun drawn to rob the driver, ohhhhh Kathie you should think like that!!

Johnny, you have to see it, its very well done.
People hail the cab and I presume they select the people that have to travel the furthest cause they have the opportunity to win more cash. Then the cabbie, who is very articulate and good looking, asks them questions and they get harder and harder, and they're allowed 3 wrong guesses, on the 3rd wrong guess, they must leave the cab, no matter where it is.... Funny, usually they're at their destination on the 3rd wrong answer, which is a little discouraging. The nasty person in me wants to see someone walk 20 blocks to get to their destination. They also are allowed a phone call shout out for help and a sidewalk shout out for help in answering questions. Its cute, some have walked away with a couple of hundred dollars each, AND A FREE CAB RIDE, TO BOOT!! Nice Show, kinda different! Hope you like it. Kath
