I first was a B Kliban fan and later a Larson fan. Both have very similar twisted humor, like mine.

The one I remember most has the caption something like "veterinary students usually breeze through the horse section". In the cartoon it shows a student sitting at a desk with a textbook open and on one side of the page it has symptoms and the other side treatment. Every treatment says "Shoot".

Me too, I had one of those tear-away calendar pads at my work desk back in the 90's. Love Larson.

So many to choose from, but when I think of his work, this is always the first one to come to mind

The 2024 Far Side daily calendar is now available. (It’s a revised edition of the 1996 calendar.) The 2023 is still out there, too. (Revised version of 1995.)

. . .A much less expensive way to get a Far Side fix than buying all those books — again. I am thinking about ordering because a hardcopy quick fix on my desk could deter me from going down that online rabbit hole.

For those of us with a certain bent to our sense of humor, nobody gets us better than Gary Larson.

There is a similar one to this about 2 golfers getting ready to putt. In the background is a mushroom cloud. One says to the other, "go ahead and putt the shock wave won't get here for about 5 minutes".
