Ok this has probably been asked before. But after a cursory review of past posts turned up some but not this one I decided to ask it.
My favorite is "Marty". Plus I have a movie confession-- I have never watched any of the "Rocky" movies.. just never appealed to me

My wife's favorite movie is also "Marty", I also like Ernest Borgnine but not my favorite movie. I have always liked 70's movies best, The Godfather and also GF II, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Taxi Driver, Jaws, Heaven Can Wait, Network, Deliverance, Alien, The Exorcist, All the President's Men, American Graffiti, The French Connection, Animal House, Dog Day Afternoon, Rocky, Coming Home, The China Syndrome, to name a few. However, my favorite which is also from the 70's has to be Chinatown.
Last night I was watching American Hustle for the second time. First time was in the theater and last night on TV and it's close to being my favorite film after all these years. I'm also a big fan of Sideways, friends Miles and Jack's tour of the California wine country is really good. ![]() |

My favorite movie goes way way back,,Lost Horizons, with Ronald Coleman. It was about Shangra la. I have to this day , an interest in the mystic and Asian philosophy expressed in the film.

Probably Sideways. It is hard for me to come up with a favorite movie as I like so many of them.
Sideways seemed to have great depth with great humor. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/sideways/ |

I have been watching about 5 DVD movies per week for about the last decade, not to mention movies I saw on TV since I was a kid. By now I've seen thousands of movies, many of them were great, some were mediocre and some were absolutely horrible.
After seeing all those movies, there's no way I could pick one as my favorite. |

I have two favorites when when I was really a boy and one when I was a man but still a boy inside.
Walt Disney's Song of the South. I love the story, I love all of the characters Mel Gibson's Braveheart. This movie based on true events carried with it so many human emotions and deficiencies intrigue, love bravery, betrayal morality, greed, power, reason ........................................People can say what they will about Mel Gibson but the man produced some very powerful movies. |

My favorite is "Braveheart" with Mel Gibson.
For all out silliness, and laughs till my side aches, I enjoy "Captain Ron", "Caddyshack", "Weekend at Bernie's", "Blues Brothers", and "Back to School". Probably watched all six movies a hundred times and enjoy them as much every time I watch them.
