...because as far as I know Snopes.com is the work of a couple-- David and Barbara Mikkelson-- who live in the Los Angeles area. The website-- Snopes.com-- is funded through ads or it and private donations.


There is a lot of garbage on their message boards but their web-site itself seems to go into some actual facts and such.
